Industrial Control Systems Intern

(Business-Tech Intern II)

This position may be a paid position or for school credit, at the student’s choice.

 

Hiring Range:              Bus. Tech. Intern II     $15.00 to $21.00/hour

 

Location of position:  Quivas Building

Full time, 40 hours per week

 

Opening date:             February 23, 2017

Closing date:               March 26, 2017

Intern Project:

Various industrial controls system projects. Tasks may include instrument calibrations, water quality analyzer maintenance, cable installation, general duties, safety team member for confined space compliance.

 

Hiring Criteria:

  • Must have a current class “R” Colorado driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

  • Must be willing to travel to some Denver Water mountain facilities.(There may be the need to stay overnight on occasion.)

 

Industrial Control Systems Technician Intern (Business Tech Intern II)– Junior or Senior level student with technical knowledge in basic electricity and electrical test equipment, OHMs law, general safety, and a basic understanding of instrumentation utilized in a municipal water utility.
